Skeffington Palace

Skeffington Palace, Eleanore Small, is an artist from the Boston area. Starting her musical journey at the age of three, she has gained extensive knowledge and experience from private lessons and personal ventures. She is proficient in many instruments including piano, keyboard, synth, bass guitar, guitar, drum set, alto sax, EWI, clarinet, mallet percussion, ukulele, and more.


Eleanore is currently a senior at Marblehead High School. In her free time, she leads, composes for, and participates in ensembles covering a wide range of genres. Her passion for music helped her become the high school marching band 2020 drum major. She was also elected as the 2020 President of the local Tri-M Music National Honor Society chapter. She was a pioneer in her high school's theatre department, creating and composing original pieces for the first Marblehead student-led theatre orchestra in a competitive show. For her work, she won an Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild All-Star Company Award for Music Composition and Direction.


Eleanore strives to blend diverse genres of music in her compositions. She draws inspiration from Kula Shaker, Jamiroquai, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, Yoko Shimomura, Nobuo Uematsu, and Hideki Naganuma.


The first Skeffington Palace album, Don't Fear the King, is in the works. Its release is set for fall 2021. While you're waiting, check out the demo track, "Let's Jam!"
